The nVent ERICO Area Sales Manager is directly responsible for growing sales of brand products in the assigned territory – Scandinavian region, by crafting product demand at targeted, new end-users, specifiers, contractors, installers, OEM's, and project owners within the electrical and HVAC market.
This is a remote based position, involving up to 60% travelling in the scandinavian region. You may work from any nordic country.

Job duties

  • Achieve sales goals by converting new and prospective direct and indirect customers
  • Expand business within existing channel partners
  • Promote (new) products successfully in demonstrating our value propositions and highlighting product benefits for each application & market segment
  • Provide expertise in the use and best practice while coordinating responses to questions of end users, product specifiers, and channel partners
  • Build relationships with key customers and market drivers in order to influence sales & services directly and through channel partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with transactional accounts in collaboration with Regional Sales Management team, within Pricing and Product Management guidelines
  • Hold regular technical presentations, training-seminars and provide on-site support. Attend exhibition and promotion at national fairs!
  • Partner with the regional team to settle penetration strategy based on customer segmentation
  • Manage Opportunity Funnel and report sales activities and successes on CRM platform salesforce.com
  • Collect ideas for new product developments from Voice Of Customers

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Ideally 3+ years sales experience in technical products, electrical and/or mechanical installation market is preferred.
  • Skill in coordinating multiple tasks/projects, while working in a fast-paced environment, as part of a team and individually.
  • Ability to operate within a defined process and recommend improvements
  • Phenomenal interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization and outside the organization!
  • Upbeat, highly-motivated personality and dedicated team player able to easily form relationships
  • Experience with a customer relationship management system, preferably salesforce.com. Basic Excel and Microsoft Office experience is required.
  • Proficient in English and Swedish or Norwegian or Danish
